Last year’s collection saw 40 Easter eggs collected in Hemel, and 800 nationally, which were donated to charities across the UK.

Every chocolate egg collected at the Riversend Road, Hemel, facility will go to Rennie Grove Hospice, which provides care and support for patients with life-limiting illness and their families.

Manager of Access Self Storage Hemel, Steven Church, said: “Easter eggs are a lovely way to put a smile on someone’s face.

“We’ve made room for as many as possible here at the store so please drop off any extra eggs or chocolate gifts and we’ll bring them all to Rennie Grove on April 13.”

And he added: “Over five years, Access Self Storage has collected more than 2,800 chocolate eggs for dozens of UK charities, with stores collecting between 40 to 150 eggs for their nominated local campaigns.

“With your help, we’re determined to beat our record for Rennie Grove Hospice.”
