Hairdresser taking a jump for charity

Hemel Hempstead hairdresser Dannielle Carr will be doing a skydive in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association on April 17.

The cause is close to Dannielle’s heart after her stepfather, Rob Drew, 51, was diagnosed with the incurable muscle-wasting disease in 2014. Dannielle, aged 24, who works at Clipso, has so far raised £3,700 in sponsorship.

She said: “The South Herts branch of MNDA have already been such an incredible support to my stepfather and my family. I wanted to do something to acknowledge the wonderful work they carry out and to raise funds to help others living with the disease.”
