Gritters out in force as drivers are warned over wintry weather
Terry Douris, Cabinet Member for Highways, said: “After a mild start to the winter, it looks like we’re going to have some wintry weather this weekend with an icy start in the mornings.
“While our gritters will be out as necessary and salt is the best material we have available to treat the roads, please do be aware that road conditions have changed and we all need to be extra careful when we’re out and about.”
