One nomination came from a resident’s relative who wanted to recognise his caring approach to settling her mother into the Rose Lane home.

Care home manager Anna Marrah said: “Graham is a fantastic care assistant and fully deserved this recognition. We send him our heartfelt congratulations and thanks for everything he brings to Watermill House.”

The Heart of Gold Awards were launched in 2009 to thank and recognise employees for their dedication and commitment to providing high quality care.
