Get ready to upcycle the way we recycle

The roll-out of kerbside caddies for food waste and blue-lidded wheely bins for recycling and cardboard comes ahead of a change in service on November 24, rendering the current boxes and baskets redundant.

When the service changes, cardboard and food waste will no longer be accepted in the green wheely bins.

Once the new scheme has begun, the grey general waste bin and blue-lidded recycling bins will be collected fortnightly.

The green bins for garden waste only will also be collected fortnightly from February to November, and there will be a weekly collection of the kerbside caddy for food waste.
