Fundraisers to help rebuild Nepal village homes

A group of women who trekked to Nepal in aid of the Hospice of St Francis are now raising money to help the Nepalese people whose homes were destroyed by last April's earthquake.

Touched by the plight of the Nepalese people they met on their visit, Gill Dobby and Hilary Gardener from Berkhamsted, Ingerlise Pope from Tring and Caroline Atkins from St Albans have raised funds to rebuild three homes.

They have now gathered together a group of 15 people to complete the rebuild and take out supplies to the village school, which was also totally destroyed in the earthquake.
