Fun for the green fingered at Ashridge

Stock up on an exceptional range of plants at bargain prices on Sunday, May 15, at the 20th Spring Plant Fair at the National Trust Ashridge Estate.

The annual plant fair, run by the Friends of Ashridge, raises about £8,000 a year, which goes to fund work on the estate.

One huge enclosure is packed with volunteer gardeners’ plants for sale, and a second section showcases small, local commercial growers with an interesting mix of plants.

The fair runs from 11am to 4pm by the Monument and visitor centre.

Entrance to the fair and the estate is free of charge.
