Potten End’s church fete made another successful appearance on the village green at the weekend when visitors enjoyed a fun-packed afternoon, with a fun dog show being a main attraction, plus animals and a pet blessing service on the green. Classic cars and a fire engine were big attractions as were the school choir, children’s games, story-telling and traditional stalls. Funds raised will go back to the community.
The Rev Penny Nash said: “We have been delighted with the response from people in the village and from local businesses who have again rallied round to support our Fete. Both the Grand Draw and Auction of Promises benefited from some generously donated prizes and we have had a fun and successful event. ”
