Groups that think they would benefit from a free safety talk are invited to contact Dacorum Borough Council.
Dacorum’s anti-social behaviour officers are working in partnership with trading standards, the fire service, police and Age UK to help keep elderly and vulnerable residents safe inside and outside their homes.
The partnership is available to speak to residents to help raise awareness of anti-social behaviour, scams, rogue traders, fire safety, personal safety, and the services on offer from Age UK.
Purse bells, lanyards, night lights, small torches and secret wallets are available free of charge after the talks.
Dacorum’s director of finance and operations, James Deane, said: “Everyone deserves to feel safe.
“If you are part of a club or group that would like to learn more about staying safe, please do get in touch with us.”
Groups wishing to book a free safety talk should contact Kim Ashworth on Kim.firstname.lastname@example.org or 01442 228820.
