Found safe and well: teenager whose disappearance sparked Facebook appeal that got more than 1,000 shares

A missing teenager whose disappearance sparked an appeal on social networking website Facebook that got more than 1,000 shares has now been found safe and well.

It is understood that Jasmin Maddox, 18, from Berkhamsted, went off the radar after being last seen in Watford on Monday.

The Facebook post said: “She has to take medication for a heart operation she had at the age of two, so we are all very anxious and concerned.

“Any information as to her whereabouts would be greatly appreciated!

“You can let us know by contacting Herts Police. Family, boyfriend, friends and carers are extremely worried.”

Police said many efforts were being made to trace Jasmin, and she has now been found safe and well in Watford.
