Believers and non-believers are welcome to pop along to Adeyfield Community Centre between 2pm and 6pm to explore what different faiths have to offer.

The event has been organised by the Dacorum Interfaith Network, which meets monthly at the town centre’s Civic Centre, with the support of Dacorum Borough Council.

It is being run as part of the annual National Interfaith Week.

Anglican priest and chairman of the network David Lawson said: “The representatives of various faiths take part willingly and confidently. At heart we all know that what we have to offer society is the same - compassion for fellow beings and a rejection of growing materialism.

“We have deepened our knowledge and respect for each others’ faiths through our monthly meetings and discussions where we talk about every aspect of faith and how it affects our lives.”

The event will be opened by Dacorum Mayor Allan Lawson and attended by Hemel Hempstead MP Mike Penning.
