Sunday’s event was
organised by The David Case Pavilion Project at Berkhamsted School, alongside the school and the Ferrari
Owners’ Club.

The Ferraris were joined by a range of supercars and vintage cars which drove through the town from Haresfoot, along the High Street and into Castle Street, and to Berkhamsted School’s Quad.

The Belgian Grand Prix was then screened in Deans Hall, which also hosted an Italian market, Italian ice cream, Italian jewellery and various other Euro-themed treats.

The David Case Pavilion Project was set up in
memory of David Case, a pupil at Berkhamsted and a keen sportsman who was killed in a traffic accident on his way to a hockey match while studying his A-levels.

David’s family are aiming to raise £1.5million to convert Berkhamsted School’s current pavilion into a first class
facility for future sportsmen and women both at the school and for the local community.

The pavilion will have a lift and disabled facilities,
meaning it will also be suitable for young people with special needs.

The family have donated £250,000 of their own
money, with the remaining sum to be raised by events and donations from current
parents and pupils, a huge amount from past
students and local people and
businesses.

It is hoped the project will be completed by December.
