Complaints about exposed nails and spikes at a children’s playground undergoing refurbishment sparked an emergency visit from council officers.
A dad reported that the play area in Bunkers Lane, Nash Mill, had been left in a dangerous state and children were able to gain access to it.

An exposed spike.
Dacorum Borough Council is currently carrying out works on behalf of Nash Mills Parish Council.
Borough council neighbourhood action team leader Joe Guiton said: “The site is still under construction and should not be used while it is being improved. We carried out an urgent site visit to make sure the site is secure and cannot be accessed.”
