A talented dancer who attends Tring Park School for the Performing Arts wowed TV audiences when he appeared on ITV’s Little Big Shots last Wednesday.
In the second episode of the show, 11-year-old Emile Gooding chatted to presenter Dawn French and displayed his extraordinary talent as a ballet dancer.
Emile said: “I was so excited to be taking part in the show and when I danced in front of Dawn she got all teary.”
When Dawn French appeared on This Morning to promote the show, she described Emile’s dancing as “beautiful ballet, heartbreakingly beautiful ballet by a little boy called Emile”.
Emile is currently one of four boys starring as Billy Elliot in the UK tour of the hit West End musical.
Emile has also performed with the English National Ballet in Swan Lake at the Royal Albert Hall, and performed alongside his brother Remi, aged 13, in Matilda in the West End.
Remi has also appeared in Thriller the Musical and in a series of Dr Who alongside Peter Capaldi and Jenna Colman.
Emile’s mum, Sedge, said: “From a very young age, Emile has shown a talent and love of dance, which has culminated in Emile winning a place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.
“While he is very driven and keen to be the best dancer possible, he has a very gentle nature and getting the place at Tring Park has allowed him to follow his dreams.”
