Dog ‘thrown in the air like a rag doll’ during attack
Katie Scott, 23, was devastated when she got the call to say her Pomeranian-cross Teddy had been been attacked outside her home in Berkhamsted.
Katie, who works at a recruitment firm in the town, said: “My mum was walking him for me when it happened, and she is distraught. She said Teddy was thrown up into the air like a rag doll but she couldn’t get to him.
“She was screaming but the dogs wouldn’t stop attacking.”

A police investigation into the attack is ongoing, but Katie says she wants to warn other dog owners to be alert.
She said: “I wouldn’t want any other dog to go through what Teddy has been through.
“It’s really sad. He has been very unsettled since it happened and he’s usually such a happy dog. I feel nervous to take him out for a walk now in case it happens again but it’s not fair on him.”
Teddy has his dressings changed at the vets twice a week.
