A cricket club has been attacked by graffiti vandals yet again.

Police are appealing for information after cartoon-like pictures of two birds recently appeared in Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead.
Vandals have targeted Boxmoor Cricket Club on Blackbirds Moor and a small disused substation on Station Moor.

The same tag has also been sprayed onto Pitstone’s historic windmill in Buckinghamshire.

PC Eleanor Phillips said: “We are keen to find out who is responsible for these acts of criminal damage. I’d encourage anyone who may know who is responsible to contact the Safer Neighbourhood Team as soon as possible via the non-emergency number 101.”

It’s not the first time that Boxmoor Cricket Club has been targeted by vandals.

In June this year, the cricket clubhouse’s doors and shutters were sprawled with the tag ‘Rako’ along with the image of a cartoon cat.

At the time head of cricket Aaron Hinton told Hemeltoday that it was ‘disappointing’ and costs money and volunteer time to clean off.
