Distinctive necklace take during break-in

Burglars stole a distinctive necklace when they broke into a home in Upper Hall Park two weeks ago.

The incident occurred between 1.30am on Monday, July 25, and 2am on Tuesday, July 26.

The offender(s) forced open a rear window to gain access and carried out a search before making off with cash and the necklace.

The necklace is described as having a fine, silver chain with an enamelled sixpence pendant on a black background. On the rear it has an image of the Queen’s head which is red in colour.

Detective Constable Katherine Stevens said: “This necklace is highly distinctive and would be recognisable to anyone who has come across it. I am appealing for anyone who thinks they may know the whereabouts of this necklace, or who has seen it advertised for sale, to please get in touch.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dacorum Local Crime Unit via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference D2/16/674.
