‘Distinctive’ designer watch collection stolen in burglary

Photos of a ‘distinctive’ watch collection stolen in a burglary have been released by police in a bid to trace them.

Between 2.30pm on Saturday, May 23 and 8am on Monday, May 25, an offender or offenders forced open a rear window of a property in Chesham Road, Wigginton.

Several items were stolen including a number of collectable designer watches – which included a Rolex – two laptops, cash and jewellery.

A black BMW convertible, which was parked on the driveway, was also stolen and found abandoned in Ashley Green, Chesham, later on Monday, May 25.

Assistant investigator Lisa Brown said: “These watches are highly distinctive and would be recognisable to anyone who comes across them, so I am appealing for anyone who thinks they may know of their whereabouts to contact me.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area around the times stated or saw the vehicle being abandoned.

“Any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could greatly assist the investigation.”
