During the month of December, Tring Lions organised lots of fundraising events in order to raise money for local projects.

The festive season saw the benevolent club partner up with Father Christmas to hand out mince pies in Dolphin Square, Tring to thank everyone for their help and support over the past year.

The club’s annual Christmas carol concert led by the Vale Symphonic Woodband was held on Christmas Eve and was attended by more than 600 people celebrating the lead up to the big day.

Steve Mitchell, of Tring Lions, said: “Thank you to everyone who supported us during the month and rest assured that the money will be donated to local good causes.”

Tring Lions Club would also like to thank local businesses, Diffusion, the Greyhound at Wigginton, FW Metcalfs, Beechwood Fine Foods, Dunsley Farm Shop, and Meads Farm Shop, for supporting them once again as they raised money with a Christmas raffle.

A quiz night held at Nora Grace Hall on March 13 is next on the fundraising calendar.
