Cyclist suffers '˜suspected fractured leg' in crash

A cyclist was rushed to hospital with a suspected fractured leg after a collision in Hemel last night (Thursday, April 7).

The man, in his 30s, was riding his pushbike when he was in collision with a grey Citreon Xsara Picasso on Galley Hill at around 6.20pm.

Police closed the road at the junction with Fennycroft Road while paramedics attended to the patient, who was later taken to hospital for further treatment.

Officers remained at the scene until 8.10pm, when the road was reopened.
