Two arrested after large stash of drugs were found in stolen car in Hemel Hempstead

Two people were arrested after 29 bags of white powder, cannabis, a hammer and a large amount of cash were found in a stolen car in Hemel Hempstead.

Officers from Team 4 Intervention stopped the car on Saturday night, which was found to contain illegal drugs.

The driver and passenger were then arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.

The car was found NOT to belong to the driver, nor did he hold a driving licence or insurance. Both occupants were also arrested on suspicion of theft of the vehicle.

Further searches were carried out which resulted in finding more cannabis.
