Three arrested and two stolen vans recovered in Kings Langley

Three men were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle after police recovered two stolen vans in Kings Langley on Sunday night.

Police were called at 11.47pm on Sunday to reports of three men acting suspiciously in Tower Hill, Chipperfield.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: "The men made off in a silver Ford Focus and officers attended the scene to search for them.

"Upon arrival, officers found two vans which had been reported stolen.

"These were recovered and enquiries are ongoing to ensure they are returned to their rightful owners.

"Shortly after midnight, officers arrested three men in the High Street, Kings Langley, in connection with the incident."

A 24-year-old man from Harlow was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

A 26-year-old man from Dagenham was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

A 34-year-old man from Rainham was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

They have all been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
