A stolen Maserati Ghibli worth £50,000 was seized on Friday afternoon after being spotted by a police patrol in Hemel Hempstead.

A police spokesman, taking to Facebook, said: "The vehicle was only stolen on Thursday night in Hemel Hempstead so it's great news that it's been recovered.

"The vehicle will be inspected for any forensic opportunities by our SOCO department before being returned to the very happy owner."
