Couple’s fourth fun day in support of children’s hospice

A couple whose first-born daughter survived just 19 days after being born are hosting a fun day in aid of the children’s hospice where she spent her final days.

Sam and Danny Kerr, who have raised more than £20,000 for Keech Children’s Hospice, are hosting their fourth annual football tournament and family fun day on Saturday, July 11 at Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted.

Baby Lexi was born in September 2011 by emergency C-Section, but due to complications after birth, it soon became clear that she would not survive very long without life support machines.
