Karen Wyatt, one of the team from the council who will be answering questions, said: “Recycle for Dacorum has been up and running for a few weeks now, and most people are getting used to the new bins and collections.

“But we know that many of our residents still have questions about how the new scheme works and how they can recycle more. I’ll be on hand from 10am to midday on Thursday 18 December to answer questions on Facebook and Twitter, so please get in touch.”

Despite numerous complaints over the way the rollout has been handled and operates, the council says it will make it easier for people to recycle more. “Our residents are already pretty good at doing their bit for the environment, but we want to take recycling rates from the current 48% to 60%,” Karen Wyatt added.
