Children in Hemel Hempstead showed that community spirit is alive and well, when they helped carry out a litter blitz as part of the Clean for the Queen campaign.

Kids aged from three to 12 took to the streets of Woodhall Farm with Dacorum Borough Council’s Youth Tenants Involvement team, to inspect the area and pick up litter, with a special focus of recycling as much litter as possible.

A total of 14 bags of rubbish were collected during the two-hour event on February 17, and Sainsburys’ donated lunch for the children as part of its community investment.
