James Moore, aged 33, will be leaving his Fields End home on Wednesday, March 23, to walk to Dinnington, South Yorkshire, where his grandparents used to live.

The men met when James was studying at Sheffield Hallam University, near Dinnington, and spent a lot of time at his grandparents’ farm.

James said: “My grandfather passed away in 2010 and my grandmother in 2014, and we are raising money for the British Red Cross as this charity was very helpful lending assistance items, such as a special bed, wheelchair, etc when my grandparents were ill.”
