HSBC Community Day

More than 20 staff from HSBC’s Learning Team came together recently for a Hemel based community day.

The team spent the afternoon putting their decorating skills to good use for four lucky good causes.

Teams of willing volunteers started to descend upon community centres in Chaulden and Bennetts End as well as Community Action Decorum’s premises in the High Street and Abbeyfield’s Garrad House in Kings Langley at around midday.

By 6pm, they had completed the makeover of tired looking reception and lobby, gloomy staircases, corridors and a lounge and transformed them all into bright and attractive areas.
