Annual General Meeting

Girlguiding is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. They build girls ‘confidence, raise their aspirations and offer a chance to discover their full potential.

There are two Brownie units in Berkhamsted District that are currently looking for new leaders.

2nd Northchurch Brownies would like either a Unit Helper or someone willing to train to be an Assistant Brownie Guider. 1st Potten End are looking for someone to willing to train to a Brownie Guider.

If you have the desire to teach new skills and the resourcefulness to help with activities including craft, cooking, music and outdoor events, there could be a role for you in Girlguiding West Herts.

Home grown charity DENS urgently needs willing and enthusiastic volunteers to help out at their night shelter.

The role of night shelter volunteer involves welcoming guests to the shelter and helping to prepare the evening meal.

After turning the dining room into a lounge for the evening, you’ll be able to spend some time getting to know the guests and helping to put them at their ease.

Help is needed during the week and at weekends from 6.45pm until 10.45pm. Volunteers should be 18 or over.

This home grown charity is looking for volunteers with office experience to help with their Creative Learning project.

The project offers courses in English for speakers of other languages, dance and exercise, skills and leisure classes and arts and crafts.

The roles are varied and provide a great opportunity to utilise your skills in a small and busy team.

If you have good customer service skill, are proficient in IT including data entry or experience of working in the training field, this charity would like to hear from 
you.
