Car, blimey! Austin enthusiast James’ taste of fame

Boxmoor School pupil James White owns one of the classic motors, which was made in 1934.

The 10-year-old was recently featured in both the Practical Classics Magazine and the Austin Ten Drivers Club Magazine.

James’ message in Practical Classics was featured as the letter of the month. In it, he wrote: “I love going to classic car meetings with my mum and dad and my grandad. I also like working on the car in my grandad’s garage, even though it’s a bit messy.

“As I am only young, I still have a lot to learn.

“My grandad has several classic cars, so we work on all of them together.”
