Those with a flair for web design are being invited to bid for the chance to revamp Herts County Council’s website.
Small or medium-sized businesses specialising in web design services can find out about the plans to develop the site, what services are required and how to bid for contracts at an event in the county next Monday.
Frances Button, cabinet member for customer service and performance, said: “We want our new website to feature the latest technology, so it anticipates customer’s needs and offers a personalised, user-friendly service.
“We want to encourage small and medium sized businesses with bright ideas and expertise in website development to bid for and to win contracts with Hertfordshire County Council.”
The event takes place at the Oak Room in the Hertfordshire Development Centre, Stevenage, from 10am to 1pm.
Entry is free – book your place by emailing email@example.com.
