Business birthdays mark a year of success

Two Hemel Hempstead businesses have marked a successful first year with birthday parties.

Salon Glow celebrated the occasion by offering loyal customers discounted treatments as a token of the staff’s appreciation of their continued support.

Glow offers a range of beauty treatments, cosmetics and hairdressing services from its Avebury Court base, off Mark Road.

The salon’s Zoe Robbins said: “It’s amazing to think it’s nearly a year since we began delighting our customers with our exceptional discreet service.

Our customers mean a great deal to us at Glow and are the life blood of our business.”

Also turning one this month is Gadebridge’s Bomvida Cafe, run by Dawn Potts. Dawn enjoyed anniversary cake, cards, balloons and flowers with its customers at the shop in Rossgate.

Dacorum borough councillor for the area Maureen Flint praised the eatery, saying: “The cafe is a good meeting place for local residents and I now feel the cafe is part of the Gadebridge community after building its customer base.”

Dawn said: “I’d like to say thank you to my customers who have supported me in my first year and I am sure will support me in the future years to come.”
