Big bash and party games for birthday girl Betty as she celebrates her 103 years
She joined in during games of pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey and charades at Ashlyns Care Home in Berkhamsted during the recent bash.
The grandmother-of-two, who also has five great-grandchildren, then enjoyed a slice of birthday cake and some Pimm’s. Her son Terry Neal and his wife Barbara joined her for the big day.

Hide AdBetty only moved into the home in April, having previously lived in River Park, Boxmoor – not far from the Grand Union Canal.
Jackie Milne, who organised her party, said: “She’s a great character and loves her walks to this day, with her stick.
“She loves her Cinzano with lemonade at lunch times - very weak. She’s got a wicked sense of humour, she really has, and she enjoys a good natter, as she says.”
