Berkhamsted double deaths: Family pay tribute to 'our beautiful daughter'
The parents of a woman who was found dead in her home in Berkhamsted last week have paid tribute to her.
Sarah Nash, a 37-year-old mother-of-two, was discovered by police at her home in Highfield Road on Thursday, June 23, after concerns were raised for her welfare.
The circumstances surrounding her death are currently under investigation by the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit.
Her parents this week said: “We are devastated by the loss of our beautiful daughter and request that we are left in peace to grieve her death.”
Lee Guntrip, aged 25, also of Berkhamsted, was also found deceased within the property.
Detective Chief Inspector Jerome Kent, from the Major Crime Unit, said: “This was a tragic, isolated incident and one which I know has caused concern within the wider community.
“Investigations are on‐going however, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.”
A mandatory referral to the Independent Police Complaints Commission has been made due to the prior contact between Herfordshire Constabulary and the deceased people.
Police are continuing to investigate the two deaths.
