BAILED: 20-year-old man from Berkhamsted who police think may be connected to fatal hit-and-run
Fazan Ahmed was struck in Jupiter Drive, Highfield, at about 8.25pm on Friday, August 22, by a driver who stopped briefly, before fleeing the area.
The 16-year-old former student of Adeyfield School died of his injuries two days later in St Mary’s Hospital, London.

Hundreds of people attended the funeral prayers for Fazan at Hemel Hempstead Mosque in St Albans Hill, Bennetts End, yesterday afternoon.
The place of worship is less than a mile from Longdean School, where Fazan was due to begin his A-levels in September. He had hoped to later study business or economics at university.
But after his life was cut tragically short, his funeral procession yesterday took his family and friends from Jupiter Drive to the mosque to pay their respects.
A photo of all the tributes left to the popular teenager was posted onto the R.I.P Fazan Ahmed Facebook page shortly afterwards.

Police arrested a 20-year-old man from Berkhamsted at 6.30pm on Thursday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Officers believe the man may be connected to the hit-and-run that killed Fazan. But they have now released him on bail until late October while the investigation continues.
