Attempted rape: Man appears in court
A man has appeared in court after a woman was attacked whilst running in Tring last week.
Jamie Saunders, 26, of no fixed abode, will appear at Hatfield Remand Court after being charged with attempted rape.
He was remanded into custody and will next appear in court for a plea and case management hearing at St Albans Crown Court on November 16.

Hide AdAs reported in last week’s Gazette, the incident happened in a field as a female jogger was running in a field off Little Tring Road on the outskirts of town.
A police appeal was followed by Saunders’ arrest.
Hertfordshire Police are still appealing for anyone who has any information on the incident to get in touch.
