Armed police hunt for thieves after knifepoint robbery

Firearms officers and the police dog unit were deployed after a man was robbed at knifepoint in Berkhamsted.

Police launched the manhunt around the London Road area at around 11.30pm on Friday when a man, aged in his 30s, was mugged as he walked between the petrol garage and the Old Mill pub.

It is alleged that two men threatened him and stole his wallet, coins and bank card. The victim was not injured during the attack.

>Two men, both aged 19 from Hemel Hempstead, were arrested on suspicion of robbery. They have been released on police bail until Friday, March 6.
