Ambulance trust win’s praise of public in survey

The care given to 999 patients by the ambulance service has been rated as first-class in a new survey.

More than 98% of those who used the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust service in July said they were satisfied with their treatment, and nearly 94% said it met or exceeded expectations.

Call handlers were praised for the way they supported 999 callers, with 96% saying their experience was ‘acceptable’ or ‘very acceptable’. Overall, 95.6% said the service they received overall was ‘very satisfactory’ or ‘satisfactory’.
