Polly, who attended The Hemel Hempstead School, has already crowdfunded her way to New York and Los Angeles in order to go to film school.

Now Polly has written a comedy feature film called Unplanned Parenthood, about four roommates who find a baby on their doorstep.

Polly said: “Writing this script has been so much fun because the characters are based on real people. The roommates come from all over the world – one of them, of course, being from England.

“It’s a great project and I’m really proud of it. We are working towards getting funding for this project so we can actually make it and get it into cinemas for people to see.

“We have set up an Indiegogo campaign for this project, and the donations have been coming in, however, we still have more of a way to go.”

Polly added: “I would not be where I am today, living in Los Angeles and starting a career in film and TV, if it weren’t for the amazing teachers at The Hemel Hempstead School – Diane Heale, Debbie Bailey and Tim Jordan – and my extremely believing and giving family.”
