Air ambulance called after man collapses

An air ambulance was scrambled to a busy street this morning (Monday, September 14) after a man collapsed.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust was called just before 10am to Station Road, Kings Langley.

An ambulance crew, ambulance officer, rapid response vehicle, and Essex Air Ambulance attended.

They treated the man, in his 40s, who was in cardiac arrest.

Despite their best efforts, he died at the scene.
