A fusion of cultures at free family celebration event
CULTURES from around the world will come together for an evening of celebration.
Hemel Hempstead School will open its doors on Thursday, October 21 to host the Dacorum Multicultural Evening.
It will see a fusion of cultures with performances, workshops, displays and food tasting on offer.
The free family event, in its fourth year, celebrates the cultural diversity of the borough while also commemorating Black History Month.
Visitors can experience the soulful sounds of a gospel choir, the art of belly dancing, get to grips with African drumming and see performers from the Carter School of Irish Dancing in action.
It is part of the Dacorum Family Learning Festival, which runs until the end of the month, and aims to get families involved in fun activities.
Doors open at the school in Heath Lane at 6.30pm.
