Property plan unveiled: affordable homes could tidy up ‘eyesore’ at gateway to town centre

A new artist’s impression shows how 13 affordable homes could look if they are built as planned.

Retirement property firm Beechcroft Developments owns the site between Swing Gate Lane and Berkhamsted High Street, where the properties would be based.

Dacorum Borough Council, however, would carry out the building work.

Beechcroft says the area is currently an eyesore at the gateway to the town that the authority would like to see redeveloped.
