Clever Trevor tops the bill for Roundabout’s return

HEMEL Hempstead’s Funny Roundabout Comedy Club is back from its summer break with yet another great line-up.

Headlining the first show of the autumn is the fabulous Trevor Lock, pictured – one of the most original stand-ups on the circuit today and someone who has played a huge part in helping TFRCC to become a success.

His stream of consciousness style has had people in stitches from the Edinburgh Festival to New York City and he has toured the UK supporting both comedy stalwart Stewart Lee and the irrepressible Russell Brand.

Time Out described him as ‘hilarious’ while Metro called him ‘a comic genius’.

Supporting him next Friday is the award-winning Angela Barnes, who started her comedy career running the well-loved boutique Brighton comedy night The Funny Farm.

She only began gigging in November 2009 but just 19 months later won the coveted BBC New Comedy Award.

Jon Williams and Mark Cram will also each perform a set and your compere for the evening will be Mac.
