Rennie Grove’s Santa Float will be delivering Christmas cheer to the streets of Tring and the surrounding villages between December 7 and 20.

In previous years, donations collected from the Santa Float were in excess of £5,000, which goes directly to funding hospice care for local adults and children with a life-limiting illness.

Amy Chambers, head of fundraising development at Rennie Grove, said: “We’re excited to bring some festive fun to the Tring area this year, our Santa Float is always popular and we’re thrilled that it will go ahead,” said

“We hope to bring a little bit of Christmas cheer to families in the local area after what has been a very difficult year.”

To comply with government guidelines, this year there will be fewer elves helping to collect donations.

Cash donations will be collected but there will be an option to donate via the Rennie Grove website quoting ‘Santa Float’ or using a QR code on the Santa Float leaflet, which can be scanned with a smart phone.
