A live advent calendar continues to spread festive cheer in Berkhamsted in the run up to Christmas.

Amy Cooper set up Berkhamsted Advent Windows to bring extra happiness to the town this December, and has been sharing the photos with The Gazette each week as we countdown to Christmas.

Each evening from December 1, up to Christmas Eve, two Berkhamsted residents will unveil a festive-themed window which is then lit-up every subsequent night until 5 January.

Lights go on in the windows from 6.30pm until 10pm, and by Christmas Day, 48 windows are revealed, creating a wonderful festive wonderland.

Berkhamsted Advent Windows will be raising money for Berko Food for Friends and Open Door, to make a donation click here.

A map with the dates and addresses is available online.
