Ian Welland, centre manager at Riverside said: “After such a difficult year for many, we wanted to end the year on a high and celebrate the good people of Hemel.

"We’ve all faced many challenging times throughout this year and it’s important we recognise those who have gone above and beyond – even when faced with difficulties themselves.

"We’re therefore looking to crown Hemel’s Hero of 2020, seeing the winner enjoy a fantastic prize bundle from stores here at Riverside.

"Entries close 29 December, so make sure to head over to our Facebook page to enter.

"We’re looking forward to receiving the fantastic nominations and good news stories from the local community.”
