Coronavirus latest: Three new confirmed cases in Dacorum today

There have been three new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Dacorum today (Monday), the total for the borough is now 669, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There were 49 new cases in Hertfordshire, the total is now 5,519.

The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic of people who had a positive test result for COVID-19 and died within 28 days of the first positive test in Dacorum is 94, in Hertfordshire there have been 852 deaths

There have been 398,625 lab-confirmed cases in the UK, rising by 4,368.

The number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths has been recorded as 41,788, rising by 11, - according to Public Health England.

Nationally, the death toll has been 'recalculated' by officials. The new count is based on a new definition of who has died from Covid-19.

Previously, people in England who died at any stage following a positive test, regardless of the cause of their death, were counted in the figures.

However, there is now a cut off point of 28 days from the first laboratory-confirmed positive COVID test.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from COVID-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20.
