There have been three new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Dacorum, the total for the borough is 514, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been eight new cases in Hertfordshire, there are now 4,223 cases in the county.

Previous data shared by Public Health England relied solely on Pillar 1 (testing from Public Health England and NHS Hospital Trusts), but as of Thursday, July 2, the information includes Pillar 2 (non-clinical and commercial testing).

It has seen a radical overhaul of how coronavirus infection data is presented across the country, with hundreds of new cases emerging in individual authorities.

NHS England figures show a total of 123 people have died in hospital in the 24 hours between Wednesday 4pm and Thursday 4pm (deaths of people who have had a positive test result).

The total number of deaths is now listed as 45,677.
