Coronavirus latest: Six new confirmed cases in Dacorum

The latest figures show six new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Dacorum, the total for the borough is 529, according to Public Health England

There have been 18 new cases in Hertfordshire, there are now 4,280 cases in the county.

Previous data shared by Public Health England relied solely on Pillar 1 (testing from Public Health England and NHS Hospital Trusts), but as of Thursday, July 2, the information includes Pillar 2 (non-clinical and commercial testing).

It has seen a radical overhaul of how coronavirus infection data is presented across the country, with hundreds of new cases emerging in individual authorities.

There have been 302,301 lab-confirmed cases in the UK, rising by 846.

The number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths has been recorded as 45,999, rising by 38 (deaths of people who have had a positive test result) - according to Public Health England.

The number of deaths are people who have had a positive test result confirmed by a Public Health or NHS laboratory.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from COVID-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Tuesday, July 28, and 5pm on Wednesday, July 29.
