Coronavirus latest: One new confirmed case in Dacorum

There have been six new cases in Hertfordshire, there are now 4,169 cases in the county.

Previous data shared by Public Health England relied solely on Pillar 1 (testing from Public Health England and NHS Hospital Trusts), but as of Thursday, July 2, the information includes Pillar 2 (non-clinical and commercial testing).

It has seen a radical overhaul of how coronavirus infection data is presented across the country, with hundreds of new cases emerging in individual authorities.

NHS England figures show 369 people had died in hospital at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust as of 5pm on Wednesday, July 15.

Of 23 trusts within the region, West Hertfordshire Hospitals trust, which manages hospitals in Hemel Hempstead, Watford and St Albans, has the highest death toll.

There have been 292,552 lab-confirmed cases in the UK.

The number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths has been recorded as 45,119, rising by 66 (deaths of people who have had a positive test result) - according to Public Health England.

The number of deaths are people who have had a positive test result confirmed by a Public Health or NHS laboratory.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from COVID-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Tuesday, July 14, and 5pm on Wednesday, July 15.
